The Sound of Fractals & Photographs
I came across this video in my daily blog search for cheesy stuff on the web, and since my husband is a graphic designer/tech junkie, it instantly got my attention.
Photosounder is a one-of-a-kind image-sound editing program. It is unique in that it opens images and sounds indiscriminately, treats and processes them as images, and synthesizes them as sounds. Sounds, once turned into images, can be powerfully modified to achieve effects and results that couldn't be obtained in any other way, while images of all sorts reveal the infinite kinds of otherworldly sounds they contain. Ultimately, knowing how sounds look and how images sound, you'll be able to create images that sound like what you want to hear, or like what you couldn't imagine to hear.

Stonehenge Panorama
Ever been to Stonehenge? Better question: Have you ever been INSIDE Stonehenge? Probably not. When most people visit Stonehenge, they are kept at a distance and not allowed up to the actual stones (exceptions are made for special religious ceremonies such as Solstices).
Well, the BBC created a 360° panorama of Stonehenge from the center. It's pretty cool!

Enjoy!!

This One is for my Dad...
...and any other hunters out there.
A hunter in Montana put up a motion-activated camera in an area he wanted to hunt, to see if there were any deer. Well, he found deer. He also found a far better hunter than he'll ever be...

Rainbow's End
This is verbatim from an e-mail forward I recieved yesterday.
I seldom pass along inspirational stuff, but this one got to me.
I do believe, that in these difficult and mean-spirited times in
Which we live, there needs to be a message of hope. We can
All use a single image that speaks to us of love, harmony.
Peace, and joy. An image that suggests the universality of us
All. I have been sent that image, and I want to share it with
You. All I ask is that you take a moment to reflect upon it...

Thanks, Dave!
18 Beautiful Rainbows
I've only seen one full rainbow that I can recall, and I don't think I've ever seen a double rainbow, so I think these photos are absolutely breathtaking! Click the link below the last picture to see more!

Conformal Photography
Conformal Photography is (I think) using mathematical formulas to manipulate photographs. Whatever it is, it makes for neat images!
Here are a few examples. To see more, follow the link after the last picture.

Metal Heart
Ok, we've seen the time-lapse videos, and we've seen the tilt-shift photos. Here's a video that combines the two!
It's called Metal Heart and it's footage from a monster truck rally. Quite enjoyable!!!

Pink Elephant on Parade
And no, I'm not talking about hallucinations. A real, live pink elephant has been found in Botswana. It's actually a baby African Elephant, suffering from Albinism, which is quite rare.

I think he's pretty cute!
Unfortunately, because of the harsh sunlight in Botswana, the calf is unlikely to survive to adulthood, at least not without skin problems and possible blindness.
He's a smart little fellow, though. Experts have noticed him learning to adapt to his condition, by staying in the shade as much as possible.
Maybe this little guy has hope after all!

Who needs Photoshop...
You don't need Photoshop to make that perfect funny picture. All you need is a camera, a little creativity and just the right angle!
